Microesfera, Alejandro Amo and Ramiro Larraín, are standards in Buenos Aires' electronic music scene, as one of the stronger electronic acts coming from South America, alongside Gustavo Lamas and Leandro Fresco in Argentina. Well beyond the tecno and dance scenes that dominate the popular festivals in Argentina, Microesfera have set themselves appart with their inciendiary live sets and technical polarizations, using reverse sounds full of schaffel and dub under a techno guise. Microesfera have released music through their own label Droop Discos and in Japan through Mule Musiq. Their debut album for Static Discos, Negative, is a concept piece which transmutes micro techno analog sounds into a backward mesh of avant dance aesthetics.
